On GitHub: Proxmox VE's Virtual Machine Manager
Open on GitHubqemu-server turns a VM configuration file in /etc/pve/qemu-server/ into a running QEMU/KVM process. It contains the qm and qmrestore tools and the logic behind VM creation, disk handling, cloud-init, snapshots, live migration and backups of VMs.
It is useful when you need to understand exactly how a configuration option is translated into QEMU arguments; on a node, qm showcmd <vmid> prints the resulting QEMU command line for a VM.
Like the other Proxmox repositories on GitHub, this is a read-only mirror of git.proxmox.com. Patches go to the pve-devel mailing list, as described in the developer documentation.
