On GitHub: Read-Only mirror of the Proxmox VE Managaer API and Web UI repository

Open on GitHub

pve-manager is the heart of the Proxmox VE management layer: the ExtJS web interface you open on port 8006, a large part of the REST API, background daemons such as pveproxy, pvedaemon and pvescheduler, and command-line tools including pvesh, vzdump, pvenode and pveam. Reading it is the most direct way to see what a button in the web UI actually does, or which API call a feature uses.

The GitHub repository is a read-only mirror. The canonical repositories are on git.proxmox.com, and the documented way to contribute is not GitHub: patches are sent to the pve-devel mailing list with git send-email, and a signed contributor license agreement is required.

Related mirrors under the same organization cover other components, for example pve-storage (storage plugins), pve-container (LXC and pct), pve-cluster (pmxcfs and cluster tools) and pve-docs (the administration guide).
