On GitHub: The open and composable observability and data visualization platform. Visualize metrics, logs, and traces from multiple sources like Prometheus, Loki, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, Postgres and many more.
Open on GitHubGrafana connects to data sources rather than storing data itself, and builds dashboards from panels that each run a query. It is the usual front end for Prometheus metrics and Loki logs, and it also includes a full alerting system with contact points, notification policies and silences.
The repository contains the backend (Go) and the frontend (TypeScript/React). Dashboards, data sources and alert rules can be provisioned from files, which makes Grafana configuration manageable in Git alongside Ansible or Terraform code.
Grafana listens on port 3000 by default. Packages for Debian, RPM-based distributions, container images and other platforms are linked from the releases and from the Grafana documentation.
