On GitHub: 🐶 Kubernetes CLI To Manage Your Clusters In Style!

Open on GitHub

K9s is a widely used open-source terminal interface for Kubernetes clusters. It watches the cluster continuously and shows resources in navigable tables, so you can jump from a Deployment to its Pods, read logs, describe objects and open a shell without typing long kubectl commands.

It uses your normal kubeconfig and RBAC permissions. You switch views with commands such as :pod or :deploy, and ? lists the key bindings. Starting it with k9s --readonly disables modifying commands, which is a sensible default when browsing production clusters. Installation options, including Homebrew and prebuilt binaries, are listed in the README.
